the OTHER media gets asked regularly to help clients achieve higher search engine rankings in order to improve their traffic. I explain that its a long slow process and that you cannot expect a result quickly.

Indeed it is now taking 6-12 months for a site to start to achieve its potential.

It is worth reading the specialist forums that discuss search engines. One of the best is SEO chat and today I found this posting which perfectly describes the patient approach that will deliver good results.
