Here is the first real activity for this module. Please remember that each activity carries a mark towards the module total. For this activity you will evaluate two web ecommerce sites.

Read the instructions carefully...

1. Look up the last digit of your Knumber.

If your knumber ends in…

0 CHOOSE shoes OR organic food OR bicycles
1 CHOOSE jewellery OR stationary OR Diy supplies
2 CHOOSE wine OR carpets OR sunglasses
3 CHOOSE kitchenware OR bridalware OR chocolates
4 CHOOSE furniture OR perfume OR digital cameras
5 CHOOSE children's clothes OR car spares OR greeting cards
6 CHOOSE camping supplies OR watches OR educational toys
7 CHOOSE cosmetics OR luggage OR designer t-shirts
8 CHOOSE magazine subscriptions OR toys OR tea
9 CHOOSE lighting OR trainers OR tableware/china

2. Choose one of the topics for your digit
3. Find two ecommerce websites for evaluation for this topic.

Both of these sites must be based in the UK.

One of these should ideally be a high street retailer and the other a small less well known brand (perhaps a new online only business). Please do not choose supermarkets or department stores. Amazon and eBay are not suitable either.

4. For each of these, use the criteria shown in the lecture and make notes about the quality of the site.
5. Fill in a survey response for each of these two sites.
6. Here is the link to the survey

7. Deadline is midnight Tuesday 10th October.

As for the experience when I save some money, I will take Saturday asside to find the shop TRY followed by BUY and not use online to purchase any shoes.
