This year's ecommerce module guide

Below is this year's Module Guide. The course is going to be a bit different from last year particularly in the way it is examined. Instead of a case study each student will complete a series of activities and the exam will ask questions raised by these activities.

The key ideas behind this module are

  1. Allow students to get some practical experience of planning, building, running and marketing an ecommerce store
  2. Allow students to contrast such simple stores with major brands online
  3. Allow exploration of emerging trends in customer service, business-to-business ecommerce and the technologies that support ebusiness systems

The key to getting a good grade is taking part in the regular activities and asking lots of questions.
